Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 19, 2026

Engauge ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Engauge fleet management platform available at engauge.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data.

If you have questions, contact us at support@engauge.app.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you invite team members, we collect their names and email addresses as well.

Fleet and Business Data

When you use Engauge to manage your RV rental business, we store the information you enter — including vehicle details, booking records, expense entries, maintenance logs, and customer information. This data belongs to you (see our Terms of Service).

Payment and Billing Information

Subscription payments are handled by Stripe. When you subscribe, Stripe collects and stores your payment card details. We receive only a token and limited billing details (last four digits, expiration, billing address) necessary to manage your subscription. We do not store full card numbers.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use Engauge — such as pages visited, features used, and session duration. This helps us understand what's working and what needs improvement. We may use cookies and similar technologies for this purpose (see our Cookie Policy).

Communications

If you contact us for support, we retain the contents of that correspondence.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver the service — operate, maintain, and improve the Engauge platform for your account.
  • Process billing — manage your subscription, issue invoices, and handle payment issues via Stripe.
  • Send transactional email — deliver account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts, and important service notices. These are sent through Loops.so.
  • Send product updates — with your consent, inform you about new features, tips, and announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Analyze usage — understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. Analytics data is aggregated where possible.
  • Ensure security — detect and prevent unauthorized access, abuse, or fraud.
  • Comply with legal obligations — respond to lawful requests and enforce our agreements.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your data. We share information only in these circumstances:

Service Providers

We work with third-party vendors who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:

  • Supabase — hosts our database and manages authentication. Your fleet and account data is stored on Supabase infrastructure.
  • Stripe — processes subscription payments. Subject to [Stripe's Privacy Policy](https://stripe.com/privacy).
  • Loops.so — delivers transactional and marketing emails. Your name and email address are shared with Loops to send these messages.
  • Analytics provider — to be determined. This policy will be updated when an analytics tool is integrated.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Engauge, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers

If Engauge is acquired, merged, or transfers substantially all of its assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users in advance where practicable.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 30 days to allow you to export it before permanent deletion.

You may also request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@engauge.app. We will complete deletion within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records by law (for example, billing records for tax purposes).

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete your account and personal data.
  • Export your business data in a portable format.
  • Opt out of marketing email communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@engauge.app. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data:

  • All data transmitted between your browser and Engauge is encrypted using TLS.
  • Data stored in our database is protected using row-level security, meaning users can only access data belonging to their own organization.
  • Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
  • Access to production infrastructure is restricted to authorized personnel.

No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a security issue, please report it to support@engauge.app

7. Children's Privacy

Engauge is a business tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@engauge.app and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes — those that significantly affect your rights or how we use your data — we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The updated policy will always be available at engauge.app/privacy-policy.

Your continued use of Engauge after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
