Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: March 19, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes conduct that is prohibited when using the Engauge fleet management platform. By using Engauge, you agree to follow this policy. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or need to report a violation, contact us at support@engauge.app.

1. Prohibited Conduct

Illegal Activity

Do not use Engauge to engage in, facilitate, or promote any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations — including laws governing data privacy, consumer protection, or business operations in your jurisdiction.

Data Scraping and Automated Access

Do not use bots, scripts, crawlers, or other automated tools to scrape, extract, or mass-download data from the Engauge platform without our express written permission. This includes scraping data about other users, the platform interface, or any content you do not own.

Reverse Engineering

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive source code from the Engauge platform or any of its components.

Impersonation

Do not impersonate Engauge, another user, or any person or entity. Do not misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authority when using the Service.

Spam and Unsolicited Communications

Do not use Engauge — including any messaging or notification features — to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or communications that violate applicable anti-spam laws (such as CAN-SPAM or CASL).

Unauthorized Access

Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Engauge platform, other users' accounts, or systems connected to the Service. Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems or networks without authorization.

Harmful Content

Do not upload, transmit, or store content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. Do not use Engauge to target or harm individuals.

2. Data Integrity

No Malicious Uploads

Do not upload viruses, malware, ransomware, or any other malicious code or files to the Engauge platform. Do not upload content designed to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system.

No Storage Abuse

Do not use Engauge to store data unrelated to fleet management for your RV rental business — for example, using Engauge as general-purpose file storage or as a proxy for another service. Storage resources are provided to support legitimate business use of the platform.

Accurate Data

Do not knowingly enter false or misleading information into Engauge in a way that could harm other users, deceive Engauge, or violate applicable law.

3. System Integrity

Respect Rate Limits

Engauge may apply rate limits to API endpoints and certain platform features to ensure fair access and system stability. Do not attempt to circumvent these limits.

No Interference

Do not take any action that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Engauge platform or its underlying infrastructure. Do not interfere with any other user's ability to use the Service.

No Unauthorized Integrations

Do not connect unauthorized third-party tools or integrations to Engauge in a way that violates this AUP or the Terms of Service, or that places excessive load on the platform.

4. Enforcement

We take violations of this policy seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may take the following actions:

  1. Warning — For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a written warning and require corrective action.
  2. Suspension — We may temporarily suspend access to your account while we investigate or while you remedy the issue.
  3. Termination — For serious, repeated, or unresolved violations, we may permanently terminate your account without a refund.

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation and to take appropriate action at our sole discretion. We will try to provide reasonable notice before taking action except where immediate action is necessary to protect the integrity of the platform or other users.

5. Reporting Violations

If you believe someone is violating this Acceptable Use Policy or has used Engauge to harm you, please report it to us:

Email: support@engauge.app

Please include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation, relevant account information, and any supporting evidence. We will review all reports and take appropriate action.
